You can delete your On The Baize (OTB) account and the personal data tied to it at any time. There are two ways to do it.
In the app (fastest)
- Sign in to the app.
- Open Profile, tap More (⋮) at the top right, then Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom, tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deleted as soon as you confirm.
If you look after a venue or a league, deletion waits until you have handed it over. The app tells you what to hand over.
By email, if you can't use the app
Email admin@onthebaize.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll reply within one month. Mail sent to support@onthebaize.com reaches us too.
What is deleted
- Your profile.
- Your favourites.
- Your notifications.
- Reviews you've written.
- Your saved cards and registered devices.
- Any screenshots you attached to feedback you sent from the app. (Feedback screenshots are also deleted automatically after 90 days.)
Upcoming bookings are cancelled and refunded under the normal cancellation policy.
What is kept
- Your past booking and match history, and your ratings. These are kept so other players' records and rankings stay correct, but they are anonymised and shown as "Deleted user".
- The written text of feedback you sent from the app, without your name, so we can still fix the problem you told us about.
- Your league results and team membership, if you were in a league. They stay under "Deleted user".
- Payment and booking records, which we keep for tax and accounting for at least 6 years (a legal obligation, pending legal review).
Backups roll off within 14 days, so deleted data leaves them by then.
Deleting an account can't be undone.
